Unfortunately ive had to go here twice in the last week. First time was for my 9 yr old who broke her arm at school. I drove her to the nearest e.r. she was seen very quickly and they did all they could to make her as comfortable as possible. We were in and out within an hour exray included it was wonderful. Almost a week my boyfriend and I both got a bad stomach virus and went back to the hospital to be tested for flu and strep, we were seen/ tested and sent home again within an time... again fantastic....however.... today a female calls from the hospital, she states shes from the e.r where we were seen (i checked the number, she called from grady hospital) she asked for my boyfriend. When i told her he was at work and asked what i could do for her she stated, " we were just calling to check on him and see if he was feeling better have a good day" and hung up! Well isnt that nice... WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF YOU WOULD HAVE CALLED TO CHECK ON OUR LITTLE GIRL WITH A BROKEN WRIST AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THEY CALLED TO CHECK ON ME (i was in way worse shape w the virus than he was) BUT NO!!! No calls for us...seems odd... ill be contacting HR to see if this is normal behavior or if its just some lonely nurse using patients personal information to contact them trying to pull a fast one on an attractive man! Review done!
I was traveling through Georgia on my way to Florida and had my first kidney stone attack. I thought I was dying. Siri on my IPhone directed me to the nearest hospital which was Grady General. I was traveling alone except for my best friend and loving dog Buster. I arrived at the emergency room with buster in tow and was about to pass out with pain. I was accepted immediately and the incredible care for me and Buster started then. I was taken care of by Rich and Kent immediately and was assured that Buster was in good care by a number of dog loving nurses. I am from Houston, Texas which has worldwide known medical facilities which I have experienced. Let me tell you if I am sick again I would rather be in the care of Grady General any day.
